FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: rotor mower has cutterbar pivotally mounted on frame. Cutter has casing with pivotally connected brackets and knives and is fixed on shaft. Supporting bowl of cutterbar is pivotally attached to sleeve. Casing with brackets, knives and supporting bowl is spring-loaded. Spring is disposed in cavity defined by guiding sleeve and sleeve with supporting bowl. Spring reduces dynamic loading on cutterbar during advancement of mower and abutment against obstacle. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 7 cl, 9 dwg
