FEEDING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has self-propelled cart with hopper for dry combined feeds and liquid feed vessel. Discharge auger-doser mounted in hopper bottom is positioned for rotation in horizontal plane in conjunction with bottom and end part of discharge pipe for supplying liquid feeds or water for soaking feeds from vessel. Middle part of pipe has three parallel branches, each provided with electromagnetic valves and cut-off valves. Pump positioned at leading end of pipe is equipped with back safety valve for supplying liquid feed from vessel into feeders and for soaking dry feed delivered into feeders from auger-doser. Feed soaking water is supplied through spraying frame and into feeder through branch pipe. Automatic operation of feeding apparatus is provided by control unit and manual operation is performed by operator from control panel. Such construction allows regulated dispensing of dry feeds into group or individual feeders and simultaneously soaking of these feeds with water to be effectuated in accordance with predetermined program. Such apparatus may be employed in animal houses with several feed alleys of different height. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities. 4 cl, 7 dwg
