FEED DISPENSER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for conveying and dispensing feeds at animal farms. SUBSTANCE: feed dispenser has hopper mounted on frame and provided with agitator and auger. Auger discharge part is disposed in housing projecting beyond hopper and provided with discharge windows having adjustable gates, flow divider and pans. Longitudinal guides are extending along perimeter of housing. Auger outer coil is spaced from guide ends by distance equal to 0.3 of auger coil pitch. Front edges of discharge windows are offset one with respect to another in the direction of auger coiling by distance equal to 0.2 of coil pitch. Finger-type ripper is positioned adjacent to discharge windows on shaft. Such construction allows feed to be uniformly dispensed to both sides of feed dispenser. EFFECT: increased efficiency by uniform feed distribution and simplified construction. 4 dwg
