FIELD: gold mining. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to flotation of gold- containing ores and gold-bearing dusts to recover fine and floating gold. To raw material, petroleum distillation products obtained at 170 to 195 C and xanthogenate at ratio 1:(1.2-3) are added and mixture obtained is floated with frother. Flotation apparatus has casing divided into chambers by partitions not touching top of casing. Height of chambers increases in direction of material travel, and chambers are shifted with respect to each other in horizontal plane. Chambers accommodate aerators and, in their bottom parts, water traps communicating with collector. Apparatus is also provided with froth collector constructed in the form of floating conduit inside casing, charge and discharge means. Clearance between above-mentioned partitions and top of casing constitutes 4/3 height of floating conduit. EFFECT: increased fine and floating gold recovery. 3 cl, 1 dwg
