FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: billet in the form of polyhedron with bases having shape of regular polyhedrons is cut away. Semi-finished product is produced from billet with use of combined stretching which later is subjected to direct pressing-out. Punch with ledge between stages having width equal to thickness of semi-finished product produced by combined stretching is used for stretching and direct pressing-out. EFFECT: improved capability to increase depth of produced cylindrical articles. 2 dwg
