FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: purification of acetylene obtained by oxidative pyrolysis of methane to remove diacetylene impurity is carried out by sorption of diacetylene with 30-35 wt % of aqueous solution of secondary amine and 8-10 wt % of ethylene glycol. On heating adsorbing, solution at 60-70 C for 1.5-2 hours, mixture is subjected to rectification to prepare 4- dialkylamino-3-butene-2-ones with yield of 69-75%. Methylacetylene-allenic fraction present in absorbent gases and freed from diacetylene is used for production of isopropenyl acetate and 2-alkoxypropene to obtain useful commercial organic synthesis semiproducts, namely 4-dialkylamino-3-buten-2-ones. EFFECT: more efficient purification method.
