FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemical industry, particularly to processes of hydrocarbon pyrolysis gas preparation for further processing, and can be used for purification of pyrolysis gas containing acetylene and ethylene as target components from impurities of their homologues and accompanying hydrocarbons C3 and C4. Technical result is achieved in method of purification of pyrolysis gas from acetylene homologues, ethylene and hydrocarbons C3, C4 by absorption with kerosene and subsequent desorption thereof, wherein absorbent is first mixed with tert-pyrocatechol in an amount of 0.02-0.1 wt%, absorption is carried out at -10°C, and desorption is carried out while heating to 180°C for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in operation efficiency of absorbent.
