FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: skin tissue is dubbed and made water repellent as follows: to 100 wt parts of product obtained after rendering fat and collagen-containing waste from flesh and cuttings, 1.0-5.0 wt parts of sulfuric acid and 10-100 wt parts of polyorganosilasane are added and resulting preparation in amount of 0.5-6.5% based on intermediate product weight is applied on surface of the latter, which is then subjected to vibrational treatment at frequency 1 to 10 Hz for 2-4 min.
