FIELD: securities, bank notes, and other documents protected against fake. SUBSTANCE: device is made from paper material with protection element which is designed as strip of strong flexible material. Paper has holes in location of protection element. Each hole along protection element is designed in steps. Protection element is located inside paper in three different levels. In region of maximal hole depth, protection element is located on surface of paper material in open position or is covered by thin paper layer. In other regions, it is located inside paper material in depth which corresponds to shape of stepped holes. Width of strip is in range of 0.8-10 mm. Manufacturing method involves application of thin layer of paper onto substrate surface with holes with additional steps. This leads to insertion of protection strip into paper into three different levels. Pieces of protection strip which are embedded into paper are covered with protection picture on at least one side of paper. EFFECT: increased protection against faking. 8 cl, 4 dwg, 3 ex
