FIELD: road-building industry. SUBSTANCE: ash-mineral mix can be used for building bases for motor road pavements. Mix contains construction-grade crushed stone of 5-60 mm fraction size in proportion of 18-27 mass%, waste of crushed-stone production of 0-5 mm fraction size in proportion of 23-38 mass%, fly ash resulted from burning coal in proportion of 33-45 mass%, waste from lime production that is air-slaked lime in proportion of 4-12 mass%, lye in proportion of 8-13 mass%. Ash-mineral mix is produced in three stages as follows: at first stage separately proportioned components are successively and layer after layer delivered to horizontal conveyor; at second stage components are mixed up by pouring four-component mix from horizontal conveyor to receiving bed of inclined conveyor and material is then delivered from inclined conveyor to mixing bin; at third stage, continuously added to material being mixed is water solution of lye through proportioning nozzles with continued mixing of entire mass of material until producing ash-mineral mix of required consistency. Application of aforesaid method and mix allows for efficient and high-output production of ash-mineral mix. Service life of road pavement made of ash-mineral mix is prolonged due to obtaining monolithic mass of road pavement base. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 tbl
