ANCHOR PACKER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: bore-hole drilling accessories. SUBSTANCE: anchor packer is used in operation and repair of wells. Device has hollow body with by-pass passage. Installed on body is flexible anchoring multiple-hollow collar which in combination with body creates circular chambers under anchoring collar. These chambers are connected with each other and with hollow of string of pump-compressor pipes. Concentrically located inside body is transit adapter. Body itself is created by concentrically located external and internal pipes which create circular passage and lower pad. Held in lower pad is reducing hollow with annular spool-type valve. Transit adapter is seated in lower pad with possibility for rotation and it has two inclined passages for spools and one discharge passage. This passage is interlocked with spool-type device below positioning of motor for joining with device for unscrewing of pipes in well or with fluid pump. By-pass passage is provided with non-return valve and is hydraulically connected in lower pad with circular passage with outcome in upper end of body to above-packer space of well through non-return valve. Aforesaid embodiment of anchor packer widens its functional potentialities. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
