FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: relates to fire-protection technology and can be used at wells during oil recovery operations and on pipelines during their operation and in case of damaged equipment for protection of wells and pipelines of any length. Fire-protection system incorporates shut-off valve with main valve, and non-return valve. Shut-off valve is provided with follow-up system and actuator of main valve. Main valve actuator has rod, piston, damper piston. Follow-up system has adjusting spring. Non-return valve is made up of body, seat with valving member with wing which interacts with valve body seat when flow of working medium is stopped due to own weight or due to return flow and own weight. Flow of working medium is stopped by main valve of shut-off valve by action of follow-up system and actuator piston. Aforesaid arrangement of fire-protection system imparts entire system with high reliability due to possible stopping of working fluid flow to place of emergency by means of shut-off valve and non-return valve.
