FIELD: valving systems.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises detecting break-down by means of dropping pressure of the fluid pumped, detecting the location of the break-down in the pipeline, and shutting off the valving members of the damaged section. The device comprises two valves provided with driving devices at the ends of the break-down section and detecting system made of electric circuit wound on the surface of pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
