FIELD: transport engineering and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: rotary machine has housing with cylindrical working and auxiliary chambers, rotor and wheels- dividers. Rotor is installed in working chamber with clearance relative to its cylindrical wall, thus forming a ring working channel, and is furnished equally spaced blades overlapping the working channel. Wheels-dividers are installed in auxiliary chambers for overlapping the working channel and are provided with cavities corresponding to blades. Opening is made in cylindrical wall of working channel to which low-pressure branch pipe is connected. Rotor has side walls limiting working channel. Ports are made at least in one wall on sections adjoining blade pressure surfaces. Openings are made in end face walls of working chamber corresponding to ports. High-pressure branch pipes are connected to openings. EFFECT: increased degree of expansion (compression) of working medium without use of change-over devices in machine. 4 cl, 6 dwg
