FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing and manufacture of internal combustion engines. Proposed rotary vane engine had body with radial partitions, rotor with radial vanes installed in body for rotation around its axle, vanes engaging with inner ring surface of housing and with radial partitions, and also seals for zones of contact of rotor vanes with inner ring surface of body. Seals are made in form of sealing plates fitted in slots on vane heads, and counterweights connected with said plates through toothed rods installed in vanes between said plates. Partitions are made in form of extensible flaps fitted in slots made in body. Inner volume of body is divided by flaps into two working zones, air one consisting of air suction and compression spaces, and fuel one consisting of working stroke and exhaust stroke spaces. Each space has intake or exhaust port. Working stroke space communicates with intake port and combustion prechamber which is made in engine body. Engine is furnished additionally with fuel mixture atomizing and ignition system, system to deliver high pressure of working stroke to flaps, system to scavenge precombustion chamber after working stroke, and system to seal end face walls of vanes with end face walls of cylinder in zone of contact and to compensate for wear of said walls.
