FIELD: power engineering; mobile and stationary power plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed crank-and-piston internal combustion engine has cylinder block with oppositely paired cylinders, pistons, crankshafts, rotor, intake and exhaust valves. Rotor is made with through intersecting slots. Opposite pistons are rigidly interconnected by rods. Number of crankshaft is not less than three. Crankshafts are installed over periphery of rotor between adjacent cylinders. Piston rods are installed in rotor intersecting slots. Rods are provided with two support heels 5 which are installed on rod at outer opposite sides of rotor. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability and increased service life of piston engine. 4 cl, 3 dwg
