FIELD: drying of solid materials or objects and other bulk materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves changing heat-carrier flow rate at drying chamber inlet and, depending on flow rate, regulating rate of supplying heat-carrier to drying chamber, as well as correcting supplying rate depending on grain moisture content and drying time; correcting heating efficiency of heat generator depending on heat-carrier flow rate, grain moisture content and drying time. Apparatus has drying chamber provided with supplying diffuser and connected with heat generator having heat efficiency regulating member and discharge diffuser. Drying chamber is connected with discharge airduct and is further provided with exhaust fan, heat-carrier temperature sensor, heat-carrier temperature setter, comparison member, regulating member, grain moisture content sensor and setter. EFFECT: increased efficiency of heating chamber and improved precision of grain drying process. 1 dwg
