FIELD: recuperative and regenerative plate-type finned heat exchangers of exhaust gas neutralizers of internal combustion engines and other burner devices; load-bearing reinforcement for various envelopes. SUBSTANCE: short corrugations are arranged in staggered order in succession by means of strips on fins of corrugations and fins of corrugations having upper and lower rectilinear sections converging in way of top of corrugation at similar angles relative to its axis of symmetry. Upper rectilinear sections of corrugation fins are conjugated at top of corrugation by radius or by horizontal section. Upper and lower sections of each fin of corrugation are conjugated by means of connection section of fin. Strips are made at distance equal to half height of corrugation in center of length of connecting inclined rectilinear section of corrugation fin whose ends are engageable with upper and lower rectilinear sections of corrugation fin by means of two arcs of circles of similar radius directed to opposite sides by successively shifting the rows of shorter corrugated passages in way of flow of heat-transfer agent by lesser (shutting-off) and larger (clearance) amount relative to magnitude of length of shorter corrugation. EFFECT: intensification of heat exchange process in shorter passages; increased mechanical tensile and compressive strength of fin surfaces; compact surface. 9 cl, 11 dwg
