BIMETALLIC RADIATOR Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F24H3/06

Abstract RU 2354894 C1

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of heat engineering, namely, to heating radiators-convectors, namely, to bimetallic heating sectional radiators. Bimetallic radiator consists of at least two joined sections, every of which includes horizontally installed upper and lower metal tubes, connecting metal tube of section coupled with horizontal tubes of section, at that every section is embraced outside with monolithic body, which includes rectilinear main rib that is frame-forming in its larger part and internal ribs adjacent to them on both sides. Mentioned body for every section includes external frontal panel, back panel, which are adjacent to opposite ends of the main ribs, upper heat-exchanging element, at that internal ribs of every section that are most closely located to back panel are arranged with curvilinear terminal parts bent towards back panel so that they form curvilinear channels brought to radiator back side together with part of upper radiator tube covered by monolithic body, upper heat exchanging element and main rib. Upper heat exchanging elements are located above upper tube and are developed to the side of back panel, at that upper heat exchanging element comprises front inclined and/or curvilinear sections, which are inclined and/or bent towards back side of radiator section, front panel comprises main part and upper part inclined to the side of back panel, with creation of two inclined channels together with front sections of upper heat exchanging element, and channels separated with the main heat conducting frame-forming rib, with the help of which upper heat conducting elements are connected to front and back panels. Front and back panels of every section are installed with displacement relative to each other so that front panel, starting from section top, does not reach section bottom, limiting together with back panel air-intake niches separated by the main rib, in which lower section tubes are installed, and back panel starting from section bottom, does not reach section top, forming channels brought to section back side together with internal ribs most closely located to back panel.

EFFECT: improved manufacturability of item production, increased heat emission of radiator, and also in improved uniformity of heat exchange and air draught.
