FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: to launch a positive-buoyancy rocket from water surface, it is placed in the ship dock chamber and fixed on a movable platform with a ballast tank. The dock chamber ramp is opened and its surface is brought in line with the chamber deck. The rocket on the platform is displaced with the tail onto the ramp. The platform is fixed on the ramp and turned to a position close to the vertical one. The linkage of the platform with the ramp gets broken in the longitudinal direction, and the platform with the rocket is immersed into water under gravity. The rate of immersion is adjusted by changing the platform buoyancy. On completion of immersion the platform is locked on the ramp. The transverse linkage of the rocket with the platform is broken. Under the action of positive buoyancy and incident flow of water at ship motion the rocket is turned in the vertical plane around the member of longitudinal linkage of its tail with the platform. After the passage of the rocket axis of the vertical position the linkage of the rocket tail with the platform is broken. The rocket comes to the water surface and the launching vertical position. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 6 dwg
