FIELD: measurement of distance to various targets on locality. SUBSTANCE: radiating channel includes laser radiator and device for co- adjustment of channels put on telescope. Wide-field channel of optical sight is formed by input objective lens, sight grid and lens inversion system matched optically. Large magnification channel of optical sight is formed by input objective lens, beam splitter, sight grid and lens inversion system. Range finder has eye-piece of optical sight, device for optical matching of wide-field channel and large magnification channel with eye-piece manufactured in the form of right-angled prism, reception channel with input objective lens, beam splitter, photodetector, control and information processing unit that incorporates range counter and digital indicator. Digital indicator has light indicator " dangerous target." Range finder also has electromagnet with mobile element which carries optical attenuator mounted between beam splitter and photodetector for crossing of optical axis of reception channel. Unit for initiation of starting signal is fabricated in the form of light fiber placed with one end in radiating channel and fixed on telescope and with the other end - in reception channel between photodetector and optical attenuator.
