FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: method involves analysis of patient peripheral blood where content of hemoglobin, total protein, count of lymphocytes, platelets, segmentonuclear, youth and rodnuclear leukocytes, eosinophiles and monocytes and value of prothrombin index, erythtrocyte precipitation rate and patient weight are determined. Then indices IKO1, IKO2, IKO3 are calculated followed by measurement of malignant neoplasm size (D) by the formula: D = IKO x (-5.3) + IKO2 x 0.35 + + IKO3 x 0.0016 + 13 (cm) and the total count of malignant cells (OK) is calculated by the formula: OK = π x D(E + 3) (E + 9)/6 where π = 3.1415926 and E means mantissa. This method ensures to measure tumor size without invasive methods using, to determine the extent of oncopathology and to optimize the curative process. EFFECT: increased precision of malignant neoplasms size assay and total count of malignant cells in patient body. 3 ex
