FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure final difference of potentials of gravitational field of the Earth both between different points of the Earth and between values of potential in one point but at different time moments. Two identical optical radiation resonators, one of them having absorbing cell, are created in accordance with given approach. Insertion of absorbing cell into resonator leads to change of generation frequency of laser. Consequently, generation frequency of resonator having absorbing cell will differ from generation frequency of same resonator but having no absorbing cell. Difference of frequencies of two such resonators located closely depends on value of potential of gravitational field of the Earth in point of location of such lasers.
