FIELD: laser detectors. SUBSTANCE: laser detector may be used for measuring the first and second derivatives (vertical and horizontal) of the Earth gravitation field potential, as well as for measuring the final difference of potentials of gravitation field between different points of the Earth and between potential values at one point but at different moments of time. Detector has four optical radiation resonators adjacent to one another. They differ only in that one of resonators does not include absorption cell, and three other resonators contain absorption cells, so that when in operation, they are positioned at points of different gravitational potential values. It is known that generation frequency of laser which contains absorption cell depends on value of gravitational potential at point of absorption cell location, and generation frequency of laser which has no absorption cell also depends on value of gravitational potential but differs from generation frequency of similar resonator which contains absorption cell. Value of the Earth gravitational field potential at point of location of these lasers, as well as first and second derivatives of potential may be judged by comparing the frequency difference of resonators. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement. 3 cl, 2 dwg
