FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: poultry blood serum is added to infusoria culture Colpoda steinii and cultured for 1-2 h. Then concentration of infusoria is determined in blood serum and obtained results are compared with measurements obtained on standard birds of the same age under different physiological state and conclusions about an organism state are made. Invention can be used for diagnosis of poultry sicknesses and estimation of their physiological state and resistance. EFFECT: prediction of resistance in poultry livestock and its productivity. 1 tbl
