FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: process is appropriate for dehydrating oil well product. Coalescence of oil emulsion is carried out by passing emulsion through one or several hydraulic grates formed by jets of liquid, for example, oil. Contact of liquid and oil streams results in their soft breakage, mixing, affecting emulsion-stabilizing shells, and emulsion breakage. If oil emulsion persists, it is subjected to recoalescence. EFFECT: intensified emulsion breakage when using hydraulic grate from heated liquid or liquid mixed with demulsifying reagent. 3 cl, 3 dwg
