FIELD: diffusion separation of gas mixtures. SUBSTANCE: diaphragm-type roll gas separating element includes perforated collector which is divided by gas-tight transversal partition, two inlet passages and two outlet passages for medium being separated. Diaphragms are spirally wound on collector and sheet of turbolator is laid between; diaphragms are interconnected forming stacks with drain passage formed by sheets of drainage material between adjacent stacks. Drainage passage has longitudinal partition and is sealed up on three sides of perimeter. Drainage passage has glued longitudinal partition. Used as drainage material is tricot cloth impregnated with formaldehyde resin. EFFECT: simplified method of manufacture of diaphragm element and enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg, 1 App
