FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to demineralization and desalination of natural and waste water by reverse osmosis. Membrane roll element containing sheets of folded membrane membranes, separator formed by gluing onto surface of membrane balls of elastic material, providing a given uniform height of membrane channel when twisting packages, and drain sheets, which are spirally wound on perforated tube.
EFFECT: technical result of the disclosed membrane roll element is increased resource of its operation.
