FIELD: chemical industry, modernization in situ of urea synthesis reactor at a high pressure and high temperature with parallel movement in the same direction of gaseous and liquid phases. SUBSTANCE: reactor has a vertical tubular body with a great number of horizontal sieve plates located in it. The method consists in installation on one of the sieve plates of great number of constructionally independent caps, which have a great number of holes located in their upper part, and together with the plate form several lateral slots. EFFECT: preferable separate flow of gaseous and liquid phases and their subsequent optimum agitation. 18 cl, 5 dwg
