FIELD: equipment for hydraulic classification of solid material particles in flow of hydraulic fluid, applicable in mining, chemical, building and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: classifier comprises a body with a classification chamber consisting of several concentrically arranged cylinders, pulp inlet pipe connection, mixing chamber, discharge and drain openings. Each classifier cylinder is connected to the tapered bottom forming a cylindrical- conical tank. The cylinders are separated from one another by cylindrical shells and cylindrical crosspieces. Radial ribs and a number of concentric tapered surfaces are installed in the upper part of the cylindrical-conical tanks. Water is fed through annular pipe-lines arranged under the concentric tapered surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of material classification and homogeneity of obtained classes. 3 dwg
