SUBSTANCE: the method consists in quasi-loading of ferromagnetic fluid in a nonuniform magnetic field, superposition of vibration on quasi-loaded ferromagnetic fluid, feed of material, separation of material in accordance with density, forming of light and heavy fractions by means of a separating partition, as well as unloading of these fractions, the fluid surface is used as the zone of separation, and separation of material is accomplished relative to effective density formed on this surface, and the separating partition is placed directly near the fluid surface. Constant fluid level is maintained in the process of separation.
