FIELD: assembling and riveting operations, possibly at making high-resource riveted joints with use of soft-collar rivets. SUBSTANCE: plant includes upper and lower power heads mounted in frame. Upper power head is in the form of housing in which are mounted: mechanism for drilling and countersinking openings in riveted pack and placing soft-collar rivet into it, mechanism for making upper closing rivet head and spindle for trimming it. Lower power head is in the form of housing with clamping member and with mechanism for making lower closing rivet head. Each power head has mechanism for making space closed along diameter of rivet stem in zone of its portion extending from pack and mechanism for creating radial interference in cylindrical part of opening. First of said mechanisms is in the form of detachable cylindrical sleeve and collet chuck with outer cone. Contour of one end of said sleeve corresponds to that of countersunk seat for rivet head. Second mechanism is in the form of punch moved in cavity of detachable sleeve for upsetting rivet. Formation of closing heads of rivets is realized by means of burnishing heads with tool in the form of profiled burnisher. EFFECT: possibility of riveting by large-diameter rivets at providing necessary interference and resource of joint. 2 dwg
