FIELD: equipment for crystal growing from aqueous solutions, applicable in production of crystalline billets of optical members, for instance, for nonlinear optics. SUBSTANCE: introduced into crystallization vessel with working solution of respective salt are two platforms attached to each other at distance determined by required thickness of crystal and installed for rotation. Center of lower platform made in form of plate has hollow for point seed. Hollow bottom is parallel to working surface of upper platform and its lateral size d is much lesser than platform linear size. Hollow height is selected to be equal to (1-1.5)d. Working surface of upper platform is parallel to working surface of lower platform. Point seed is selected in form of crystal with present orientation of crystallographic axes x,y and z relative to its base surface. Claimed device provides for growing of high-quality crystalline billets of required thickness and with required orientation of crystallographic axes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
