FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: deformation joint has metal compensator, filler, layer of mastic, waterproofing material. End faces of bridge span structures are trimmed with rolled steel angles which are attached to bridge span structures by means of anchor bolts. Compensator is provided with rubber profiled strips which are glued to flanges of angles by epoxy mastic. Joint is covered atop by two layers of waterproofing material applied in overlapping manner for possible sliding under layer of mastic. Application of aforesaid embodiment of deformation joint ensures longer service life, simplified and accelerated process of erecting motor road and municipal bridges both in repair of bridges and building new bridges.
