FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to mining minerals in chambers or in short faces by means of powered support. Powered support has sections which are made up of cylinder and rod of hydraulic post which are pivotally installed between upper beam and base, advance jack, control hydraulic cylinders which pivotally connect adjacent sections of support. Base of section at rear side is made with shaped bracket having upper lever, internal lever, and cross-member pivotally installed between upper beam and upper lever of base bracket. Cross-members are provided with additional control hydraulic cylinder which connects adjacent support sections at top. Hydraulic cylinder of each of hydraulic posts at side of connecting hydraulic post with support section base can be provided with spacer. Shaped bracket of section base can be provided with three-arm lever installed between upper lever of shaped bracket and cross-member, and it has stem installed between internal lever and arm with eye-lug of three-arm lever. Side edges of bases underneath can be made with chamfers for possible advance of support in lateral direction. Aforesaid embodiment of powered support allows for moving support by own power without dismantling from worked-out chamber to new chamber. Increased range of extending of support sections is achieved without risk of deformation of hydraulic post rod. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
