FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in suppression of underground fires. According to method, accumulated methane is sucked out through ejector pipe. Accumulated methane is burnt in combustion chamber. Combustion products together with neutral gas are delivered into bubbler. Inert foam is delivered through fire hose behind dump. Simultaneously inert gas is supplied into dome for substitution of methane. Plugging mass is periodically delivered into dome. Application of aforesaid method enhances efficiency in preventing and suppression of fires. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
