FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: pressure regulator is made in form of reservoir containing permanent gas. Reservoir is connected with high-pressure and between compressor and condenser and low-pressure end of refrigerating machine by means of pipe lines fitted with shut-off valves. Method of control of pressure in condenser consists in introducing part of permanent gas into refrigerating agent circulating loop for increase of pressure; when it is necessary to decrease pressure, part of this gas is bled from circulating loop. EFFECT: increased refrigerating capacity; enhanced operational reliability of vapor compression refrigerating machine at reduced temperatures of cooling air. 4 cl, 1 dwg
