FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry, in particular, to liquefaction of natural gas. Cooling machine comprises compressor, input of which is connected with vapour zone of circulation receiver, and output is connected with liquid zone of circulation receiver, which through a circulation pump is connected to input of evaporator. Working medium used is ice-containing suspension of CO2, ice content in which does not exceed 45 %. Bottom of circulation receiver is made with inclination greater than angle providing "sliding" of ice particles, wherein circulation pump is communicated with lower point of bottom of circulation receiver. Supply line is fitted with a first shut-off valve, wherein section of supply line between circulation pump and first shutoff valve is communicated with circulation receiver by a recirculation line, provided with a second shut-off valve.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling cooling of natural gas to -50 °C before feeding into cryogenic heat exchanger.
