FIELD: control equipment. SUBSTANCE: servo motor control system has programmed control unit which outputs one or more signals which are output to servo amplifier. Programmed control unit is connected to protection switch for detection of its actuation and controls servo amplifier in order to brake servo motor when actuation of said protection switch is detected. Time delay braking system is connected to protection switch in order to detect its actuation. This system triggers for braking servo motor after given time delay from detection of actuation of protection switch. EFFECT: elimination of troubles caused by switching servo motor off, when programmed control unit or servo amplifier are damaged. 5 cl, 7 dwg
