FIELD: communication equipment, in particular, for automatic local, long-distance and international calls. SUBSTANCE: device has public-access pay phone and unit for protection against unauthorized connection to telephone line. Latter unit is mounted at cross unit of exchange. In addition device has information transmitter and control unit. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced information receiver and by design of unit for protection against unauthorized connection to telephone line, which has information receiver, control unit, information transmitter and accumulation counter, which are connected to control unit of protection unit. This results in possibility to record information about current telephone call, and store it until next telephone call is initiated, and to transmit it through telephone line to accumulation counter of unit for protection against unauthorized connection to telephone line, when next telephone call starts prior to user action on entering a called party number. EFFECT: possibility to collect statistical and payment information using existing telephone lines, increased reliability. 1 dwg
