FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves tilling soil of strips between tree trunks, zones under tree crowns and in free parts of spacings. Width of tilled strips between tree trunks is at least 1 m at each side of row. Remaining part of spacings is tilled for one pass by tillage unit, provided working tools used for tillage are not laterally offset from longitudinal axis of tractor. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced power consumption for soil tillage in gardens.
