FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting threads through two puncture openings on both sides of perforated vein. The threads are introduced under oblique direction. The threads are concurrently pulled through under ultrasonic transducer control. Tightening is continued until pulsating colored spots images disappear from the perforated vein zone. The threads are tightened until perforated vein image vanishes. Perforated vein ligation is carried out under continuous control of ultrasonic transducer.
