COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTION AND DEGASIFICATION OF SKIN FROM ORGANOPHOSPHORUS TOXINS AND INSECTICIDES AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: chemical industry, agriculture, living conditions. SUBSTANCE: composition has the following components, wt.-%: rare-earth metal of cerium subgroup nitrate or their mixture (as measured for rare-earth element) 2.2-2.8; triethylene glycol 60-64; ethylcarbitol 24-27; glycerol 1.8-2.2; sodium hydroxide 0.7-0.9 and water - the rest. Composition is prepared by successive mixing components at 20-25 C followed by neutralization of obtained mixture with sodium hydroxide an aqueous solution to pH value 6.7-7.3. Composition is used for prophylaxis of skin-resorptive damages caused by organophosphorus substances, their detoxication on hands, face, neck skin and detoxication of toxins. The new composition provides safety of work with organophosphorus compounds being in the absence of protective dress and gloves. Composition shows low toxicity, it does not cause irritation of skin and eye mucosa and provides rapid and effective detoxication of toxins on nonprotected skin.
