SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a new agent showing an immunomodulating effect for treatment of patients with disorders of functions of living organism immune system, for prophylaxis and treatment of diseases caused by both immunodeficiency and hyperimmune state in human. Invention proposes polyprenols as an immunomodulating agent that are obtained from wood greens of coniferous species of the general formula: 
where n = 10-20. EFFECT: broadened arsenal of preparations showing immunomodulating properties.
