FIELD: railway transport; signalling systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes road vehicle detectors, pulse sequence selectors, actuating units in form of siren and flashlight and in form of generator of code signal for limiting speed of train approaching the crossing supplied into track circuits. Supply of detectors, selectors and actuating units cut-in devices is provided through voltage feed unit which, in its turn, is controlled by device detecting the train on crossing approach section. Proposed device ensures safety at railway crossings by provision of well-timed warning of drivers and crossing watchmen in case of dangerous situation caused by violation of traffic regulations by road vehicle driver.
