FIELD: level crossing monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means of monitoring a level crossing. The system includes axle counting points installed at the boundaries of controlled sections of the crossing and containing track sensors, floor counting devices that are connected to track sensors, light and acoustic signaling devices and auto barriers connected to each other using a cable barrier device, an automatic control and monitoring unit for the crossing alarm, data exchange unit, uninterruptible power supplies, external power supplies, linear circuit, diagnostics and archiving unit, video control unit, monitor, signal retransmission unit, blocks for monitoring the health of communication lines, logical control unit for the passage of a train through the level crossing, control unit for re-closing the level crossing, unit for monitoring the actual position of the trap covers, the unit for automatically bringing the trap covers to the upper position, position sensors for the trap covers, polling circuits for the cover position sensors barriers, control unit for the free crossing zone, control unit for crossing barriers, traffic lights, power supply device for floor counters.
EFFECT: increasing the safety of railway and road transport in the area of the railway crossing.
