FIELD: wood chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce fir oil, fir balsam, anthocyanidine dyes, and carbon sorbents. Processing comprises cutting, extraction with nonpolar solvent, and evaporation of extract solution. Extract is then separated by vacuum distillation into fir oil and fir balsam. After that, bark is treated with boiling ethyl alcohol containing 2-5% of hydrogen chloride to give anthocyanidine dye. The rest of bark is subjected to oxidative pyrolysis at 600-800 C for 25-35 min in presence of blast furnace slag as catalyst to yield carbon sorbent. EFFECT: increased completeness in utilization of fir bark and extended assortment of products. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
