FIELD: aluminum production. SUBSTANCE: according to one of versions, aluminum production waste is treated with 1-10% aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid or its salt and then kept at ambient temperature until detoxification reaction is completed. Otherwise, after detoxification, waste undergoes mechanical treatment in impact crushers or on drum mills with singular helix after which is sieved into three fractions.
