FIELD: systems increasing compressor capacity; railway transport; braking mains at varying flow rate of air. SUBSTANCE: system includes inlet pipe line made in form of casing divided into two chambers by means of movable partition. Volume of each chamber increases or decreases depending on position of partition. Inlet pipe line includes inlet device made in form of convergent nozzle. Change of volume of two chambers is ensured due to shifting the partition connected with spring-loaded piston by means of rod; spring-loaded piston is located in pneumatic cylinder whose above-piston chamber is connected with pressure source and with atmosphere by means of valves. Control unit is connected with valves through temperature and pressure sensors, thus admitting the compressed air to above-piston chamber and bleeding it to atmosphere. EFFECT: reduced dimensions of inlet pipe line; possibility of using this pipe line as air filter of compressor. 1 dwg
