GEAR FOR FLAME AND MECHANICAL DRILLING OF HOLES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry, gears to drill and expand holes. SUBSTANCE: gear for flame and mechanical drilling includes drilling member which end carries rock-breaking elements and flame jet burner with fuel, water and air supply lines. The latter communicates with pressure branch pipe of compressor via heat exchanger and adsorber. Gear also has compressor with filter in the form of resonator with deflector and narrowing nozzle placed across inlet of its suction branch pipe. Internal surface of nozzle has helical grooves having dove-tail shape in its cross-section. Deflector is manufactured of bimetal material. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption of drilling process thanks to reliable maintenance of resonance pressure charging of sucked air. 4 dwg
